We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physician Assistant to become a part of our Colon and Rectal team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Opportunity Overview
- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Specialty: Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Hospital Information: Trauma Level 1
- Team Size: 5 members
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - for Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
- Call Requirements: Shared equally based on group needs

Qualifications
- Strong communication abilities with an emphasis on patient education and involvement
- APPs: Must be board certified in the relevant specialty prior to starting
- Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained) / ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engaging in teaching and mentorship
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health initiatives
