We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physician Assistant to become a part of our Colon and Rectal team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Opportunity Overview

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM
• Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
• Specialty: Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Hospital Information: Trauma Level 1
• Team Size: 5 members
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - for Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
• Call Requirements: Shared equally based on group needs

Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities with an emphasis on patient education and involvement
• APPs: Must be board certified in the relevant specialty prior to starting
• Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (must be maintained) / ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

• Delivering direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Engaging in teaching and mentorship
• Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health initiatives
